farmtoplatelogo2013The Sustainable Food Center’s annual Farm to Plate fundraiser will be held at the historic Barr Mansion on May 9.

More than 25 chefs from Central Texas will be sourcing the food locally for this major tasting event, which benefits the SFC. Also available to patrons, as they “sip and stroll” will be handmade cocktails, biodynamic wines and local microbrews providing a celebration of local beverages.

This year’s event honors local food pioneers Tom and Lyn Meredith and their son Will Meredith with the Sustainable Food Changemakers Award.
