Disneynature’s homage to the Earth, five years in the making and fittingly entitled earth, is headed for the theaters this spring.
In anticipation of the opening on Earth Day, April 22, Disney has released photos and clips from the movie along with a list of trivia notes and facts about the film and some of its 42 animal subjects. Wildlife featured include cheetahs, the world’s fastest animal with top speed of about 70 miles per hour; demoiselle cranes, capable of flying at altitudes of 25,000 feet and Great White Sharks, the world’s largest marine predator.
