U.S. makes $117 million loan for Hawaii’s Kahuku Wind Power Project

The Department of Energy has finalized a $117 million loan guarantee for Kahuku Wind Power, LLC, to fund the Kahuku Wind Power project in Hawaii. The project includes the development of a 30 megawatt wind power plant that will supply electricity to approximately 7,700 households per year.
