dhs designs carved limestone obelisk

Elegant vintage elements

When thinking about larger, statement-making decorative elements in the garden, consider antique pieces such as statuary, finials, urns or ironwork. They are striking, and hold a bit of history for  your outdoor environment.  This large carved limestone obelisk, 67” tall, was made in the early 20th century and is being offered by DHS Designs in Queenstown, Maryland. (Prices for such items are frequently only available on request, as in this case.) You can select some French antique stone finials for $1,250, a pair of limestone dogs from early 20th century Italy for $8,900 (we didn’t say this stuff was cheap), or a 40” tall cement cherub.
