As you learn to cook with whole grains, plant-based proteins, olive oil, herbs, spices and locally grown fruits and vegetables you will also discover how these foods help prevent diseases like heart disease, diabetes and cancer, and benefit your overall health. Recipes in this class will focus on naturally gluten-free, vegetarian and low glycemic ingredients; we will discuss healthy alternatives and substitutions for meat and dairy.
Classes are for adults; teenagers may participate with a parent or guardian present.
