Ford Focus

This is a pretty fun little car to drive and about as cool looking as a car under $20,000 can be. Targeted at younger drivers, the Focus offers SYNC, a voice-activated communications and entertainment system that lets you command the sound system by talking to yourself. A coupe version debuts in 2009.
EPA estimated mpg: 24 city/35 highway
