3 – Go where the action Is
Let positive peer pressure overtake you, find a local Earth Day event and dig in. Help clean up public areas, attend teaching events or rally with environmental groups in yo
ur city. You can find local gatherings at the Earth Day Network and under green events on GreenRightNow. Chances are your area schools and cities are planning festivities as well; what a great way to meet like-minded folks and clean up the ‘hood.
