Pushing for Sanitation on World Water Day

Since the early ’90s, March 22 of every year has been World Water Day in the eyes of the United Nations.

The approach has evolved over the years, with world-water-day-toilet-line.gifan “International Decade for Action” declared for 2005-2015. Each year within that time frame takes a different focus: 2007 highlighted water scarcity in different parts of the world.
