Learn more about how local leaders are greening the area at the inaugural meeting of the Central Illinois Green Business Network. The event is set for Tuesday, April 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 301 N. Neil in Champaign on the 4th floor of M2 on Neil.
All green-minded business operators and employees are invited to this free gathering to bring together green entrepreneurs. Food and drinks will be provided and there will be a short presentation. Businesses can get $50 off the IGBN certification fee by attending.
The Central Illinois Green Business Network is hosted by the Illinois Green Business Association (IGBA), a non-profit organization that offers a green business program to help businesses go green in a transparent and organized manner.
In operation more than two years, the IGBA has worked with 30 businesses, the majority in Champaign County, as well as several in the Bloomington-Normal area.
