Only about a year old, the Audubon Insectarium, a sister organization to the local zoo and aquarium, has transformed the city’s historic U.S. Custom House into a celebration of species most folks detest: termites, beetles and mosquitoes get their due alongside their prettier peers, with exhibits ranging from oversized environmental models to computer-animated, celeb-voiced cartoons.
