Baraka
Ron Fricke, who photographed Koyaanisqatsi, began making his own experimental films in the 1980s. Baraka, perhaps his most famous work, contains footage from places as disparate as Tokyo and Jerusalem. It is a breathtaking look at how cultures around the world relate to the environment, which The Washington Post calls a “symphony of exquisite images.”
